APre-Delivery Inspection for Delmarva RV Center Inc is responsible for greeting visitors in a friendly, interested, and helpful manner while also delivering exceptional customer service in addition performs routine service inspections or tests and completes standard maintenance jobs. The PDI is a very important step in the buying process. The Pre-Delivery Inspection is responsible for the prep of the RV / camper for the delivery to the customer. This will include providing a comprehensive inspection including but not limited to interior and exterior, window and door operations, awnings and slide operations, water pressure tests, appliance testing and provide a demonstration for new RV / camper owners
of how to operate the RV / camper systems such as awning and slide features, ventilation, plumbing and heating. The basic responsibilities include, but not limited to; Exterior / interior cleaning, Inspection and minor repairs, and presentation / demonstration for new owner(s). Strong customer service skills are required.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Complete comprehensive inspection including but not limited to interior and exterior, window and door operations, awnings and slide operations, water pressure tests, appliance testing.
- Ensure all appliances and mechanical parts are in working order prior to delivery to customer.
- Ensure electric and plumbing fixtures are in working order prior to delivery.
- Completion of company supplied check sheets and other related forms as documentation of verification of completion of work.
- Provide a demonstration for new RV / camper owners of how to operate the RV / camper systems such as awning and slide features, ventilation, plumbing and heating.
- Cleaning interiors and exteriors in compliance with all company standards and client requests.
- Operating steamers, hoses, vacuums, and other equipment to meet service expectations.
- Using cleaning, protective, and restorative agents to maintain and enhance the appearance of RV's and campers.
- Managing inventory and reporting as necessary for reordering supplies.
- Performs routine service inspections or tests and completes standard maintenance jobs.
- Responding to client inquiries and fulfilling their requests. Communicating with coworkers, supervisors, and consumers to ensure timely deliveries.
QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including walking, crouching, bending, and standing for extended periods.

- Valid state driver’s license.
- Bending, squatting, kneeling, reaching above shoulder level, pushing, and pulling are
required on a constant basis. - Candidates must be able to maneuver in tight spaces, climb stairs, and use hands for
grasping and fine manipulation; good manual dexterity and balance while working off the
ground is required. - The worksite is up to 100% outdoors. Outdoor worksites are exposed to various weather
conditions.
HOURS PER WEEK / WORKING DAYS
Monday through Saturday scheduled a total of 40 hours. If working on Saturday, you will be scheduled off on a weekday.
