If you’re looking for a Delaware campground that is suited for the whole family, you have a variety of awesome options. Located in Lincoln, DE, is the famous Jellystone Park™! At Jellystone Park™, campers and kids are welcome to endless weekly activities, family movie nights, “Hey” rides, arts and crafts, and much more. For families with kids that may be a little old for a “Hey” ride, Deep Branch Family Campground is the place to go. This Southern Delaware campground is only minutes away from the beach and offers plenty of on-site fun, including a game room, outdoor sports and games, a children’s play area, and even a heated bath house.
Scenic Getaways
Couples who want to enjoy a relaxing, romantic place to camp, have a number of Delaware campgrounds to choose from. Camping at Delaware Seashore State Park is always a great time and it has so much to offer, from long, beautiful beaches to relaxing activities. Some of the favorite attractions near this Delaware campground are the Indian River Inlet Bridge and Burton’s Island nature preserve. Another fantastic spot to camp is at Homestead Campground in Georgetown. The campground is gorgeous and even has its own pond and patio right in the heart of the pull-through campsites. It’s also in a great location near Cape Henlopen State Park and the Lewes-Rehoboth Canal where couples can go on a water taxi.
Getting Wild
If you and some friends are trying to find the best Delaware campground for some fun local activities and places, these are the sites for you. Holly Lakes Campsites is in the heart of Millsboro and is only nine miles from the ocean. It’s also right around the corner from Bethany Beach and Fenwick Island. Tall Pines Campground resort in Lewes is another great place to expel some energy. The campground is surrounded by attractions, like a casino, a vineyard, Rehoboth Beach, and it isn’t all that far from Dover Motor Speedway.
